Equipped with an internal battery management system (BMS) that continually monitors and optimises its prismatic cells during use, the LiFePRO+ internal BMS also protects the battery from fault conditions such as overcharge, over-discharge and short circuit.
Why Chose LiFePRO+ Lithium?
Compared to more traditional types of deep cycle batteries such as Absorbed Glass Matt (AGM), the LiFePRO+ Lithium battery range ticks all the boxes.
Unlike AGM batteries that can only be discharged to approximately 50% of their capacity, almost the full capacity of a lithium battery can be utilised. In simple terms, just one 200Ah LiFePRO+ Lithium Battery is comparable to 400Ah worth of AGM batteries when looking at available power.
Looking at this from a weight perspective, the LiFePRO+ Lithium Battery range is approximately 30% lighter than the equivalent capacity AGM battery bank. It’s simple – more power, less weight!
In terms of lifespan, the LiFePRO+ Lithium Battery range can withstand more than 2000 charge cycles compared to an AGM battery which typically can only endure around 500 charge cycles.
